Hi! I'm Victor.

My parents are Chinese and previously lived in Cambodia where my mom's family owned a noodle shop that was unfortunately taken away by the Khmer Rouge during the Pol Pot regime. In 1979, they immigrated to France where I was born 2 years later.

​

Even though my mom did not have a restaurant in France, she had mastered many different flavors of Southeast Asia and fed us delicious meals throughout our childhood into adulthood.

​

As a kid, I never had much interest in learning what my mom did in the kitchen. It was only when I moved to the US in 2006 that I started missing my mom's cooking, especially this grilled lemongrass pork that I have been making ever since.
